Your Paris Vacation Rental |
This
spacious 2-bedroom apartment is a delight to come
home to after a long days sightseeing and window
shopping. Located on the first floor (2nd floor for
North Americans), the apartment overlooks rue Custine,
one of the most interesting street in Paris to walk
through. Though facing the street, the double-glazed
windows give you excellent insolation against any
daily passerbys.
This holiday rental has been tastefully decorated in vibrant
colors, which catch the natural light streaming into the
apartment. As the view is not obstructed closely by another
building in front (as many building are in Paris), you
benefit from the sunlight and can enjoy your morning breakfast
a the wooden dining table which extends to seat 6.
In the living room you will find a sofa bed that sleeps
two. We also have installed a flat screen TV with cable
and have high speed internet access for your laptop computers
so you can remain in touch.
Through the French doors just off the living room is the
master bedroom with its inviting queen-sized bed. For added
privacy we have put up curtains than can be drawn closed
from within the bedroom across the French doors. This is
a well appointed space with a large wardrobe and large
windows facing south out onto rue Custine.
The
master bedroom also has a work desk with a Mac
computer for your use when accessing the internet.
The second bedroom at the other end of the hall, has
twin beds that can either be left separate or with
the addition a thick mattress pad be put together to
make one king size bed. this is what makes this rental
ideal for either families or couples traveling together.
You will also find plenty of storage space in this
bedroom in our built in wardrobe.
Also off of the main hallway are the bathroom and the
separate toilet so there is no need to enter a room
to access the facilities.
The kitchen is fully outfitted with a full size refrigerator-freezer,
an oven, a four-burner range and griddle, a dishwasher
and a flash heating system that provides both hot water
for the apartment as well as heat.
The apartment is fully supplied with bed and bath linens
and also has a washing machine for your use. There
are also Laundromats in the neighborhood and laundry
and dry-cleaning services. The apartment is secured
by multiple locks (a French tradition) and the entry
into the building is controlled by an electronic entry
system.
Our Paris vacation apartment has all that you would
need and more to make you feel right at home, living
in style in Paris. |

| About
the Area |
What
can you say about Montmartre that hasn't
already been said time and again. This peaceful "village"
once was and still is the hotbed for artists and
their fans. Whether you are strolling down the
street in search of pastries or antiques or just
a drink, you are sure to find what you are looking
for in Montmartre.
Sure
you can be staying right next to St Michel
with all the hustle and bustle of "the
center of Paris"
but why put yourself through the stress when
you can have it all with peace, tranquility
and proximity and accessibility to all of Paris'
major monuments and museums.
The
likes of Van Gogh, Toulouse Lautrec, Modigliany,
Monet
& Manet could not have been wrong - Montmartre
is the place to be. |
