About Your Paris Vacation Rental

As you stroll down rue Caulaincourt from the metro Lamarck-Caulaincourt, you will already be putting yourself in the right mood for your Parisian holiday in one of Paris' most picturesque neighborhoods.

Step into your luxurious accommodations at number 57 to unwind, find solace and a delightful refuge after a long journey "home". And at home is how we hope you will feel.

This holiday rental retains period features including mouldings and the original wood flooring. It was owned and lived in for many years by a member of Montmartre's artistic and theatrical community. In the bedroom is the only one of the original owner's paintings not given to a local museum.

The LIVING ROOM contains mid-19th century antiques, to give the space that classique feel. Sleep comfortably on the double sofa bed built specifically for daily use, you will not lose a nights sleep.

The choice is yours, whether you decide to sit back in one of the comfortable reading chairs as you thumb through our large library or sit back and watch a bit of cable Television.

Off the living room is a state-of-the-art KITCHEN outfitted by a serious cook. Whether you share our passion for cooking or you just want to reheat some of the delectable delights you have picked up from the numerous food shops or at our local street market, you will find all that you need.

The coffee table converts into a large dining table seating up to 6 people, conveniently expanding to meet your needs.

Our BATHROOM contains a bath with shower and also serves as our "buanderie" (laundry room), with a separate washer and dryer. Step out of a warm bath and grab your warm towel off our heated towel rack.

The toilet is separate from the bathroom and has its own hand sink.

Our large BEDROOM contains two twin beds that can easily be made into one king size bed or can remain separated, depending on your needs. You will find plenty of space to unpack your bags and put your things away, either in the antique dresser or in the hanging closet. Additionally, you will find an armoire in the apartment's entryway should you need more storage.

A high speed wireless internet connection has been provided free of charge, so that you can always remain connected or just to look up tourist information. We have also provided a Mac computer for your use.

Nearly everyone who visits Paris wants to return and spend more time. Here's hoping that visitors to Caulaincourt Classique will look forward to happy returns.

Apartment Location

Located one minute from one of Paris's most frequent north-south bus lines (bus 80)-- carrying passengers to the Champs Elysees and even the Eiffel Tower

Three minutes walk down rue Caulaincourt brings you to bus 95, which whisks you to the Louvre, Montparnasse, and antique markets at the Porte Clignancourt. We are also located a short distance from metro line 12, which can bring you to the Tuileries gardens and the Musee d'Orsay.

The apartment is an ideal springboard for sightseeing anywhere in Paris and beyond. Wine merchants, green grocers, two good bakers, an award-winning patissier, two celebrated cheese shops, and even a health food shop are all within minutes on foot.
