Our guests would like to share few things with you to help you to chose the right apartment or to give you some tips about Paris so here are their testimonials.
The apartment has everything we needed. It is pretty, spacious, Parisian, and peaceful. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed is really comfortable, and the laptop/phone were very helpful to us. In fact, having the phone loaded up with useful apps meant that we were able to find highly rated cafes and restaurants off the beaten track using location services. We would never have found them otherwise. Location is also very good. The street is pleasant and had great bakeries/shops nearby for self catering. A few minutes walk from Montemarte's lively squares and a stone's throw from the metro. Thanks Stephanie
Wonderful apartment!! We dealt with Stephanie for several months setting up our apartment in Paris -- she was always a delight to communicate with and a true professional on every level. When our original apartment fell through at the last minute (no fault of Stephanie's), she worked extremely hard to come up with alternate accommodations for us. She had to arrange for two separate apartments for our two week stay and it turned out to be perfect for us. The Clair de Lune apartment is one flight up a circular staircase -- the building has an elevator but we only used it on the 1st and last days to take our luggage up and down. It is a beautiful apartment and very large by Paris standards -- although we preferred to eat our meals out, we did make coffee in the mornings in the large fully-stocked kitchen. Although the apartment faces a fairly busy street, we slept with the windows open every night . . . you quickly get used to the "street noises" -- and the very comfortable bed in the master bedroom makes for an enjoyable night's sleep. The closest Metro is about a three block walk -- don't be alarmed the first time you enter and descend what seems to be about 5 floors to the subway . . . there are two large elevators as you exit that come very quickly and hold lots of people!! The Metro is very user friendly and a great way to get around -- we never used the bus system but there is a bus stop right outside the apartment. You almost can't go wrong walking into ANY restaurant in Paris -- they are all wonderful. Remember, you are in Europe and restaurants let you sit and stay as long as you like . . . which means that they will not bring your check to you (as in the US) -- you must ask for it (they are not ignoring you). Also, if you want food along with your coffee in the morning, order it all at the same time . . . if you order just coffee when you sit down, they assume that's all you want -- you will then have to get their attention to order anything else. So, basically, when in a foreign country be sure to learn their customs and not expect everything to work the way it does at home -- you will be a lot happier! As I said earlier, Stephanie is a delight to work with -- thank you again for all you did to make our trip so special. We highly recommend this apartment (and Stephanie) for a wonderful stay in Paris.
Be it for work or for pleasure, I've found myself returning to the French capital on many occasions. During these trips, I've seen my fare share of lodgings in various arrondissements. That said, I've never been as pleased as I was staying with FLHP at the Actor's Studio and interacting with Stéphanie and the stellar team. From the very first moments, my questions were promptly and thoroughly tended to, there was a very personal touch all the way up until the final moment of my stay. In terms of the lodging itself, the site's pictures don't do the reality much justice. This studio is located in one of the most dynamic and vibrant parts of the Paris! The breathtaking view from the Actor's Studio served as a way to help me plan my day's or evening's adventures: The Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse, Les Champs Elysées, Les Invalides, The Seine, etc. Also, there were many fanatic restaurants and markets in the area to enjoy in my quiet moments. All in all, I have no doubt in my mind that I will be contacting Stéphanie and the team at FLHP for my next Parisian stay!
Our family recently enjoyed 5 wonderful days in Paris and had the good fortune to book Paris Chic. There were 2 adults and 2 16 year olds and it served our needs perfectly. It's located on a quiet street, but just 1/2 a block from numerous shops, restaurants and metro stops. It was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped (particularly the kitchen) and actually seemed quite a bit larger than in the photos. There was a lovely welcome basket to get us started, but we could easily shop for anything from basics to gourmet treats. Montmartre and Sacre-Coeur are within walking distance (15-20 minutes), but this neighborhood definitely felt more Parisian and not at all touristy. We would definitely recommend this location to friends and family and I would be happy to work with Stephanie again.
Another wonderful stay with the FLHIP team and the first visit to Paris for Edward & William. Highlights were visiting the Catacombs, walking along the Seine and around the streets of Montmartre as well as eating twice at our favorite local restaurant Au Virage Lepic. Our apartment stay was indeed just like a Parisian home.
I am so thrilled with our stay at Claire de Lune with FLHP! I am very picky about finding a place to stay. I want it to be comfortable for the 4 of us, in a good location, and full of charm + beauty.
Our apartment exceeded my expectations, as did the customer service I received from Stephanie at Feels like home in Paris. The apartment was beautifully decorated, with tons of natural light coming through the windows, & extremely comfortable beds. This apartment has a great kitchen with everything we needed including a carefully thought out welcome basket, and a modern bathroom with a tub (always a plus)
I especially appreciated the extra details, like an iPhone to borrow during our stay that was well stocked with apps & resources in Paris, a bag for shopping at the local market, and docking station speaker to be able to listen to music while in the apartment- not to mention tons of great guidebooks, novels and movies to borrow.
We had not stayed in this part of town before, and really loved it. There were so many great markets, bakeries, and restaurants just minutes out our front door. I don't know that I would want to stay anywhere else when we return!
Thank you Stephanie for helping us have a beautiful and memorable family getaway in Paris!
This apartment surpassed my expectations and we will be back to stay at Paris with a View anytime we are in town. When I originally searched for a place to stay in Paris I searched all over the Internet for the perfect spot. Paris is by far my favorite city I have ever visited on vacation and I have always wanted to come back with someone who means the world to me. So you can tell I had to find the perfect location to bring my boyfriend whom not only has never visited Paris, but Europe at all. He and I were so happy and our stay was great from start to finish. Every question I had asked prior to our arrival had a quick response and beyond helpful. We had a chauffeur that picked us up. (I highly recommend this) who was so friendly and when he picked us up there was a rose and chocolates waiting for us. We then arrived to the apartment which was literally steps away from the beautiful sacre coure and just minutes walk from the Monte marte square. This is truly a special location in Paris and I loved the artists and nearby cafes with delicious food and wine. We were greated very nicely at our apartment and the arrangement of rose petals and champagne was layed out on the bed so beautifully. My boyfriend was very surprised and happy. The bed was so comfortable and we never got tired of watching the lights of the eiffel tower twinkle at night lighting up the sky over the roof tops and chimneys. We slept with the windows open bc we enjoyed hearing the bells from the church in the morning. Not only was this a wonderful stay and location, but they really made it a point to make sure we were comfortable....from the delicious bottle of wine and gift basket to the local cell phone that really helped us out with the GPS maps to get around. It was fantastic!! We made plans to stay here for a few nights and then off to Greece for an island cruise. And it honestly made me so happy when my boyfriend told me that "Paris...with its amazing View" was the highlight of our trip. Now I'm happy to say he loves this beautiful city as much as I do! Thank you.
